| Gwendolyn V. Campbell, aka “Mama Gwen, The Author,” was born February 27, 1942, to the late Elder Elias C. and Mrs. Estella Cooper in Tyler, Texas. Mama Gwen is the eldest living of seven younger siblings. She has been a babysitter, nanny, mother, grandmother, and taken on the role of spiritual mother, grandmother and great grandmother to children of all races. Over the years she has been a daycare director, foster parent, youth leader, playwright, songwriter, motivational speaker, and story teller. She retired from the State of Nebraska Department of Social Services after approximately twenty years of service. She is the mother of four daughters: Deborah, Diana, Donetta, and Denise, and one son, Terry. She has one grandchild: Darren. Mama Gwen’s first book, Mother’s Notes, (published by Xulon Press, ISBN 978162692506), is a daily inspirational guide of poems, scriptures, and love. Mother’s Notes was initiated when four of her spiritual children: Trina Byers, Beverly Duréus, Terry Marsaw, and Jerzelle Rose, presented her with a fund to write it on her seventieth birthday. Her home is in Allen, Texas. |

| Dr. Beverly Caro Duréus is the President and Founder of Katallasso Ministries International™ (KMI™) an expository teaching and proclamation ministry. Its mission and vision is “Reconciling lives to God through the Word of God.” She primarily publishes her poetry, short stories, and other teachings with biblical content under her trade name Scriptureware Originals™. She is a sought after bible teacher and conference speaker and imparts God’s truths and encouragement to all, but especially enjoys ministering to women and singles. She has a passion for eschatology (the end-times), missions, evangelism and discipleship. Beverly is a licensed attorney who left her full-time law practice as an owner of her own firm to pursue God’s calling on her life. She obtained a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Seminary and a Doctorate in Ministry from Perkins School of Theology. She is on the full-time faculty of the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She ministers with her husband, Dr. Edsel Duréus, the founding pastor of Thanksgiving Tabernacle Bible Fellowship in Cedar Hill, Texas where they reside. They have one son, Edsel “E.J.” Duréus, II. |
